Meet the insanes

I came to BLT thinking that everyone is so studious and ahem..nerdy. But it turned out that they are even more insane than I am! Girls going  crazy of the weirdest people like married doctors, alpha male, staff that dance and the one with dimples. And all the different types of boys: the gentleman, the hum sup lo, the pubber, church going and guitar loving.

Speak what you think now in hard words, and to-morrow speak what to-morrow thinks in hard words again, though it contradict every thing you said to-day. — ‘Ah, so you shall be sure to be misunderstood.’ — Is it so bad, then, to be misunderstood? Pythagoras was misunderstood, and Socrates, and Jesus, and Luther, and Copernicus, and Galileo, and Newton, and every pure and wise spirit that ever took flesh. To be great is to be misunderstood.        -Ralph Waldo Emerson

You know I think I have met intellectual soulmate. Throughout the whole essay I was nodding my head vigourously in pure agreement. The notion, ‘Wise minds think alike’  is so true in this case.

I went to school today with a holiday mood and was not very productive at all. In fact, I think the boys concentrated better. They think I am going to fail my appraisal at CP. Bah, I shall be super perky and productive on Monday! Edna proposed the idea of sticking labels on our friends’s lab coats and I quickly joined in. Velcro was the main victim but we soon found other victims. By the end of the day, many others joined us(inculding the staff!). We couldn’t trust anyone at all! I had a super fun day doing that today!

I think I should start excerising, cannot stop yawning during my tutorial. This tube can hold 10 ml of blood..(yawn)..the additive in the tube is lithiu..(yawn) This is very important during your test…(double yawn).

Say hi to yourself

RIP Daul Kim.

I have never read her blog prior to her death but today, I discovered how similar and cool she was with us ‘normal’  beings. Her blog could be something that I would have read daily. I guess I will have to go daily-backwards. One of the most greatest dicoveries? Her analysis on Ralph Waldo Emerson’s Self Reliance. I fell in love with the essay immediately after I read the first 20 lines.

Instantly one of the greatest essay I have ever read. EVER.
